Landlords can relax with Let Me Properties deliver superior service standards while taking care of everything for them. Our service is so in-depth that you can leave it to us to handle everything.
We take great pride in delivering a fantastic service at some of the most reasonable and fair rates around. We are by no means a “cheap agent”, however our wise existing landlord clients understand that you get what you pay for – and they understand that the “cheap agent” still needs to make his money each month – if he isn’t charging you a fair management rate, then you are either being charged stealth fees (hidden extras) or you are getting a poor service, which will cost you a lot more money in the long run than you’ll be saving on his fees.
In an area as prestigious as St Albans, we believe all properties should be presented in a premium fashion, as this will attract the best tenants and will help you achieve the best rent. We ensure that your properties are rented as quickly as possible, to minimise those costly void periods.

Let Me Properties is proud to be licensed by The National Approved Letting Scheme
NALS (The National Approved Letting Scheme) is an independent, not for profit licensing scheme for lettings and management agents operating in the Private Rented Sector. Established in 1999 by the Empty Homes Agency with the backing of industry organisations such as ARLA and RICS the aim was to establish a single badge for consumers to look for and understand the service and protections a NALS firm offered through adherence to strict licensing criteria.
NALS is a well-respected organisation recognised by Government, tenant and landlords organisations alike and is the only agent organisation whose sole focus is consumer protection.
Tenants and landlords can have confidence in NALS firms because they have agreed to:
- Meet defined standards of customer service
- Be part of a Client Money Protection Scheme
- Have a written customer complaints procedure available on request offering adjudication through a redress scheme
- Have current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Hold a dedicated client bank account designated as only holding clients money
- Commit to an annual independent inspection of their client accounting procedures
These requirements and service standards provide protection and security for both tenants and landlords.
The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) is a government-approved tenancy deposit protection scheme in England and Wales operated by The Dispute Service Ltd.
The Housing Act 2004 requires landlords and letting agents to protect deposits on assured shorthold tenancies in a scheme such as ours. The TDS provide insurance-backed tenancy deposit protection with free, impartial dispute resolution for when disagreements arise over how the money should be divided at the end of a tenancy. Let Me Properties take deposit protection and the regulations surrounding it very seriously and are proud to be members of the TDS.
The Property Redress Scheme is a new, straightforward and easy to use consumer redress (ombudsman) scheme for Property Agents and Professionals.
The main purposes of the Property Redress Scheme are to allow Agents to comply with their legal requirement to be a member of a government authorised consumer redress scheme and to settle or resolve complaints made by consumers against our Members.
Our Members and consumers will both benefit from our simple three-stage process to resolve the complaint:
- The Member will first be given an opportunity to resolve the complaint directly
- The Property Redress Scheme offers a mediation service
- The Property Redress Scheme Ombudsman will make a binding decision on the complaint
Looking for the highest quality professional tenants? You’ve come to the right place! At Let Me Properties we attract some of the best tenants you could hope for.
Our tenant referencing process is so thorough that when tenants pass our referencing, they are guaranteed*! Our thorough referencing process involves checking the tenants for adverse data on their credit file, checking their sources of income (usually their employment reference), checking with their previous landlord (if they have one), and checking their “right to rent”. We also carry out a selection of additional validation and anti-fraud checks. These checks are so in-depth that the tenants come with a guarantee that should they fail to pay the rent in the first 12 months (or breach the tenancy agreement in some other major way), they’ll be evicted free of charge! Terms and conditions apply to this guarantee, so please ask for further information.
We regularly let our properties to well-educated professional people, such as doctors, policemen and women, teachers, investment bankers, entrepreneurs, engineers, IT professionals, professional sportspeople, and even a few very well known TV personalities.

We are so proud of the lovely feedback, reviews, and testimonials we receive from our existing and previous clients.
We work extremely hard to ensure that we are always providing a premium service to all of our clients and it is when we receive such glowing feedback that we know we are achieving our aim.
Marketing materials (including property photography) are the most important factors which lead prospective tenants to book a viewing appointment to see your property. At Let Me Properties letting agents in St Albans we take a great deal of time to prepare the best marketing materials possible to suit your property. This will often include a detailed written description of the property, details of all the rooms including the measurements, professional photography taken by trained photographers with the best equipment, floor plans, and often even a video tours.
Property lettings have changed a great deal since we started Let Me Properties back in 2008. Today, more than ever, property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla are the most likely place where you next tenant will find your property. At Let Me Properties, we are experts at making the most out of marketing properties online. We carefully craft property adverts to attract the most attention, leading to increased viewing appointment bookings. We are constantly keeping up with the latest changes in the market, such as “mobile first” where the vast majority of potential tenants are searching for their next property on their mobile phone (hence why our website works so well on your mobile phone right now). We are also always analysing and adjusting our methods based on the latest trends – such as the need to have a floorplan, awesome property photography, and having the key details that matter to tenants always front and centre.
When I started Let Me Properties back in 2008, I was only 20 years old. Even then, I knew I wanted to build a business that would be my legacy. Over the years, with the support of my mother who worked with us as a property manager, my father, who helps out with budgeting and accounting, and my wife who helps with all things HR related, we have built an amazing business that we are all proud of. We have an amazing team of great people who are now part of the family now, and we all absolutely love what we do! We work each day to ensure that once a customer has experienced our service, they will want to be a customer for life and it is this ethos that will ensure that Let Me Properties is thriving for many decades after I eventually retire and hand the reigns to my children one day far in the future.
As home-owners and landlords ourselves, we completely understand how landlords want their homes to be treated by their tenants and how landlord want their agents to care for their properties. Before we spend a single penny of a landlord’s money we always consider how we would feel if an agent spent our money in that way. We treat our rented properties exactly the same our landlord clients’ properties and we always follow our tried and tested procedures. The consistency of service, carefulness with money, and constant clear communication are just a few of the features that our existing clients love about our service.
We receive so much thanks and awesome feedback from our clients that it would be easy for the thrill to wear away – but it never does! We absolutely love receiving kind comments from our clients and we thrive on the amazing feedback we receive on a weekly basis. We hear phrases like “I wish you had an office in X town so I could give you my other properties as well”, “I wish I had used Let Me right from the start”, “You’re like a breath of fresh air compared to my last agent”, and so many phrases like this. Every time we hear this from our landlord clients we wonder why all other agents aren’t like us. Yes, letting and managing properties is not an easy task – but it definitely isn’t rocket science. As long as one is careful, experienced, caring, communicative, and hard-working, then there is no reason not to be the best agent around.
We’re in this for the long run, which is why today some of our previous tenants from year gone by are now our landlord clients – because they found our service caring for them and the property they rented through us to be of such a high standard, when they wanted to let their property in St Albans out years later, they returned to Let Me Properties as landlord clients. This is our goal – each and every year we build a stronger reputation and we strengthen our relationships with our tenants, landlords, and the community and our business naturally grows as a result.
